interlude dream; あああああああああああああああ. ✖
( WARNING: might possibly get a little disturbing in the comments, although in the scary sense more than the gore sense. If you're uneasy around uboa related things, proceed at own risk. )
[ If you happen to enter this dream, you might suddenly get a pretty pleasant feeling at first. The soft pastel colors on the walls, the nice carpet on the floor, the neat furniture-- it almost seems like a perfect room for a girl in her early teens to belong. And so there is a girl of about that age walking around. A perfect girl in a perfect room. Her blonde hair is done up in a ponytail and she's doing perfectly normal things; walking around in the room, studying at her desk, reading a book while sitting on her bed. She won't notice you even if you would try to shove her or poke out her eye, really, she just seems that absorbed in her own world.
The only thing that's not normal about the room is the fact that the lights keep going on and off for some reason. It's so bad that your eyes might need a moment to get used to the constantly changing light.
If you look for the source of the constant light switching, you'll find another girl standing near the light switch. She seems much less perfect compared to the blonde hair, her hair a bit more dishevelled in her braids and her face looking a bit drained. Yet she does notice you, unlike the blonde girl, and your gazes might even cross for a moment. If you've paid enough attention to the network lately you might recognize her as one of the newer arrivals.
But even if you notice each other, that doesn't mean she will stop pushing the light switch over and over again to make the lights switch on and off. Maybe you'll have to ask if you really want her to stop.
Or maybe you should just stick around and see what happens. ]

She opens her mouth as if to speak, as if to answer him - but instead when she turns off the lights somthing changes in the room. The girl is gone, replaced by some black and white monstrosity - Uboa. A low 'aaa' sound seems to be playing in the room as well, even though its direct source is unfindable.
Madotsuki's eyes narrow slightly, but she doesn't give off any sign of surprise. It's rather something like determination or resignation. ]

He took a step back.]
What the hell?!

[ Madotsuki - in contrast - doesn't really seem like she was even surprised by the appearance. And her tone is still fairly calm too, just her usual quiet and emotion-deprived voice. She just stares at Uboa for a few moments though, not keeping her eyes off it until she's sure it's just the usual and he won't move.
Only then she glances over to Yosuke. ]
This is what the.. 'lightswitch rave party' was for.

[ Yes, the look on her face is completely clueless - she genuinely doesn't get it. ]
