interlude dream; あああああああああああああああ. ✖
( WARNING: might possibly get a little disturbing in the comments, although in the scary sense more than the gore sense. If you're uneasy around uboa related things, proceed at own risk. )
[ If you happen to enter this dream, you might suddenly get a pretty pleasant feeling at first. The soft pastel colors on the walls, the nice carpet on the floor, the neat furniture-- it almost seems like a perfect room for a girl in her early teens to belong. And so there is a girl of about that age walking around. A perfect girl in a perfect room. Her blonde hair is done up in a ponytail and she's doing perfectly normal things; walking around in the room, studying at her desk, reading a book while sitting on her bed. She won't notice you even if you would try to shove her or poke out her eye, really, she just seems that absorbed in her own world.
The only thing that's not normal about the room is the fact that the lights keep going on and off for some reason. It's so bad that your eyes might need a moment to get used to the constantly changing light.
If you look for the source of the constant light switching, you'll find another girl standing near the light switch. She seems much less perfect compared to the blonde hair, her hair a bit more dishevelled in her braids and her face looking a bit drained. Yet she does notice you, unlike the blonde girl, and your gazes might even cross for a moment. If you've paid enough attention to the network lately you might recognize her as one of the newer arrivals.
But even if you notice each other, that doesn't mean she will stop pushing the light switch over and over again to make the lights switch on and off. Maybe you'll have to ask if you really want her to stop.
Or maybe you should just stick around and see what happens. ]

...weeds were living things too. it wasn't different, was it? he can't think of an argument at all. he'll glance over at the blonde girl too. ]

Somewhere in the background a loud obnoxious noise starts playing. ]

he looks at Madotsuki beside him, helplessly. ]
T-That's...t-that's not her- i-is it?

[ There's something slightly different in her voice now (it doesn't sound quite as emotionless or detached anymore, there's a vague sense of determination or even disgust in it), and she finally leaves the light switch alone now, leaving the lights turned off. ]
Two-faced. [ She just speaks that word, not turning her eyes off Uboa even though she knows it won't move. ] This is the monster.

She eyes Uboa warily. ] It won't move, though.

his head hurts ]
I-I don't- u-understand, but...
Why...did you want to see it?

I wanted to.. get rid of it. [ She seems to admit it earnestly. ] .. I just don't know how yet..

[ She motions with her empty hand in the direction of Uboa, before out of nowhere a knife materializes in the hand - perhaps to make her feel a little more secure. ]

... Are you.. going to touch it? [ When you take the question by face value it just sounds like genuine curiosity, but there's some more in it too, a hint of a warning of sorts maybe. ]

[ She seems rather convinced of that fact. ]
I could get it over here though if you want..

I-It's a little scary- i-it wont...do anything, right?
no subject
... Yeah, that's pretty surprising and weird, but it's weirder when she starts beackoning and meowing like a cat.. And the monster actually seems to move closer to them very slowly, even though it isn't actually walking. ]

... What's wrong..? [ She doesn't quite seem to realise it just yet. ]

[ Viktor wipes away his tears, embarrassed beyond belief now. his chest heaves as he looks at Uboa so close by and it's so hard to calm down. ]

Outside the scenery seems much more peaceful, at the very least. ]

S-Sorry...

... It's okay. [ A slight pause. ] It's gone now.. So don't cry. [ It sounds more encouraging than reprimanding. ]

T-This place... [ as he looks around his interest is captured immediately. ]
It's so pink...
