[The shriek he gives is very girly. It's not terror at the monster per se - he's seen way creepier things in the TV world and in Demeleier - but the suddenness of it was shocking. Not to mention the wrongness of its presence - it had taken the place of that nice girl, and it just looked... well, deformed. Ugly.
